WELCOME TO MY CLASS!

Ancient Civilizations

My email is axw9364@lausd.net

Welcome to 7th grade World History. This class will continue to build upon the concepts that were taught in 6th grade history. We will focus on six main parts of ancient civilizations: Geography, Religion, Achievements, Politics, Economics, and Social structure--also known as GRAPES. This year our studies will focus on the ancient civilizations of Rome, Arabia (and the beginnings of Islam), Africa, China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia, Medieval Europe, and the Americas. This class will be rich in content and include many fun and engaging projects. Please be sure to read the syllabus that was sent home with your child so that you are aware and understand all class requirements. I look forward to a successful school year in which your child achieves both personal and academic growth. If you need to contact me please note that the email is AXW9364@lausd.net
